ORANGE COUNTY – The law firm of Watt, Tieder, Hoffar & Fitzgerald, LLP, is pleased to announce a new practice group devoted to Labor and Employment Law.
Experienced employment law partner, Cynthia M. Lane, who is based in WTH&F’s Irvine, CA office, heads this new department. She comes to WTH&F from the labor and employment law boutique of Fisher & Phillips, LLP. Cynthia represents employers throughout the U.S., in both state and federal court, as well as before the Department of Labor, the EEOC, and other state and federal agencies. A significant portion of her practice is devoted to the implementation of preventive employee relations programs that include supervisory training and the development and administration of effective human resources policies and practices.
Prior to becoming a lawyer, Cynthia held human resources management positions for eight years at the Milwaukee County Transit System in Milwaukee, WI. Cynthia also previously served as an instructor in the Personnel & Industrial Relations Program at Loyola Marymount University.
