LOS ANGELES – Alisa M. Chevalier, an accomplished Los Angeles labor and employment attorney, has joined Locke Lord Bissell & Liddell as a Partner based in the Firm’s Los Angeles office. Chevalier comes to Locke Lord from Reed Smith, where she was a Labor and Employment Partner.
“Alisa is a well-established and well-respected attorney who will be an integral part of our team,” said Mitch Popham, Managing Partner of Locke Lord’s LA office. “With California being a prime area for employment litigation, especially class action litigation concerning overtime wages under state and federal law, Chevalier’s experience in representing employers in all aspects of labor and employment law, with an emphasis on the defense of wage and hour class actions, will be a key part of Locke Lord’s Labor and Employment Practice.”

Chevalier focuses her practice on the management and defense of all forms of labor and employment litigation, with an emphasis on the defense of wage and hour class actions. She also regularly defends administrative charges before state and federal agencies, conducts management training, workplace investigations and litigates unfair competition claims. A graduate of Loyola Law School in Los Angeles, and the author of several publications on addressing legal conflicts in the workplace, Chevalier frequently conducts presentations for in-house attorneys, human resources professionals and supervisors.
