SAN DIEGO – Troutman Sanders recently added intellectual property and commercial litigation partner Matthew Murphey to its San Diego office. Watanabe Nason, a consulting and placement firm for the legal community, handled the move.
Murphey is a former managing partner of Gordon & Rees’ Orange County office.
His intellectual properly litigation practice focuses on a particular expertise in patent cases involving a range of technologies, including mechanical disciplines related to driving, transport and manufacturing industries. He also focuses on electrical and electronic disciplines related to the semiconductor, microcomputer and energy industries as well as chemical disciplines related to the food processing and water filtration industries, and molecular biology disciplines related to the biotechnology industry.
