SAN DIEGO – San Diego attorney Peter Townshend has joined Perkins Coie as a partner in its San Diego office. He previously was with McDermott Will & Emery.
Perkins Coie also has added attorney Monique Ho as of counsel.
Townshend has extensive experience representing emerging growth technology companies and venture capital investors in structuring a wide variety of transactions. He has worked in a diverse array of industries, including social networking, e-commerce, online advertising, online gaming, software and hardware, telecommunications, medical devices, biotechnology and pharmaceuticals.
Townshend also has advised venture funds and angel networks such as Alliance Ventures, Burrill & Co., RWI Group, San Diego Tech Coast Angels, Sequoia Capital and US Venture Partners.
