Eva Davis is joining Winston as the Chair of the Firm’s West Coast Private Equity practice. Davis was the founding partner of the Los Angeles Corporate Practice Group of Kirkland & Ellis.
Davis advises her clients on U.S. and cross-border complex business transactions with a particular focus on mergers and acquisitions, private equity and corporate finance. She represents buyers, sellers, private equity funds, sponsor groups and financial advisors in public and private M&A transactions, including in the bankruptcy or distressed sale context. She represents issuers, investment banks and institutional investors in public and private financing transactions, including initial public offerings. She also represents public companies and their boards of directors and special committees in connection with enterprise-transformative business opportunities and legal challenges, as well as providing corporate governance and Sarbanes-Oxley advice.
