The placement of James C. Chapman with Foley & Lardner’s Silicon Valley office. Prior to joining Foley, Chapman founded Nixon Peabody’s Silicon Valley office in 2007 and was the former Managing Partner of their Silicon Valley office and co-leader of Nixon Peabody’s China Group. Chapman has more than 20 years of experience in corporate and securities law and focuses on public offerings, private placements, debt financings, venture capital transactions, mergers and acquisitions, reorganizations and recapitalizations. He has extensive expertise in international and cross-border transactions, particularly with respect to China.
