The placement of five intellectual property partners with Bingham McCutchen. The group is led by Richard de Bodo who will serve as co-chair of the Intellectual Property and Life Sciences practice for Bingham. Other partners joining include Siegmund Gutman, Andrew Devkar, Olga Berson and Bruce Kuyper. All were formerly with DLA Piper. Chambers USA says “Richard de Bodo is frequently called upon by life sciences companies for patent and trade secret disputes. Clients point out his expertise in Abbreviated New Drug Application (ANDA) and Hatch-Waxman issues, citing his ability to “dig in intimately with the subject matter” as a particular advantage.”
