The placement of partners David E. Kleinfeld and Kurt M. Kjelland with Goodwin Procter. Both join from Foley & Lardner and were also partners at Heller Ehrman LLP. Kleinfeld will focus his efforts at Goodwin in intellectual property litigation, antitrust cases, and other commercial disputes. A member of both the State Bar of New York and the State Bar of California, as well as the bar association of San Diego county, Kleinfeld has tried a wide variety of cases, and has worked with numerous technology companies in patent litigation, trade secrets, and trademark cases.
