De Stefano has represented 250 biotech companies and over 75 investor groups worldwide, and he has been involved as counsel in more than 50 IPOs. He was also the chief legal officer of the pioneering biotech company Genentech, Inc. for six years, two of which he served as a member of the company’s Management Committee.
